THE POGUES, AND SHIT

Yay for slow internet.
I haven't posted in just a bit. Sometimes things gain and lose appeal with me quite erratically and regularly, I don't know whether that's something to do with my state of mind or not. But yeah, so I'm kind of back on here. I started off with wanting this to be a post on what I've 'been up to' the past few weeks, but I have the memory of a demented fish lately, so I'll probably do updates in the form of picture posts, over the next few days. Mostly gig photos, because I went to a couple of pretty sick gigs - and gigs are pretty much the only places I take my camera nowadays. Until, of course I get my baby (my DSLR), which I've - rather overzealously - put on my Christmas list. In all fairness, it's been on my Christmas and birthday lists for more years than I can remember.

So, it's the Christmas holiday, and it's come around earlier than I thought. All of a sudden, I'm brimming with Christmas cheer and I'm actually excited - especially as my living room is the most beautiful, sparkly Christmassy thing ever.

I thought I'd be all organised this year but, of course, I'm still yet to complete my Christmas shopping. Also, it's slowly dawning on me how much revision I have to get through before my January exams. And I have the crippling feeling I'll be spending boxing day atop a pile of textbooks. Lord help me. And, on top of all that, I've come to the realisation that I can't even get excited about the post-Christmas sales due to the fact that I have about five quid in my account. In fact, I had a mini breakdown the other day, and concluded there and then that David Cameron has single-handedly ruined my life

But apart from all that, I'm liking the global warming, the Christmas cheer, and the smell of seasoning in my kitchen. Here's to Christmas 2010 being the best one yet.

I feel like there should be a picture here.
