The demand for homme models on tumblr is just ridiculous. Seriously over the top crazy. It's like it's own little population for the idolisation of Cole Mohr, Ash Stymest, Francisco Lachowski and Josh Beech to name a few. Okay so they're all really hot and shit but tumblr has got the be the largest population of people that actually know them all. The amount of people to whom I've had explain who Cole Mohr is, is disheartening.

I love demure pictures, but sometimes black and white just gets a bit boring, I've always admired digital art and have killed off Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro and even MS Paint in my bid to create endless pieces for the various websites I've had. It was sort of a break from drawing, painting and building and allowed for a more varied and precise creative output.

I took an extended break from all that when Photoshop basically failed, but I recently discovered Pixlr, which doesn't have nearly half of the tools I'd use but made it really easy to get back into the swing of digital editting, painting and colouring - all online. So pretty much sick to use.

Not much of an edit, but I do like the quality here.

Each of these edits were created by and belong to me, so no thievery fanks. They were all done very quickly and, on the whole, out of boredom so there is better and more to come. Keep checking yo.

BACK ON IT

formerly iwasintheotherroom, now jewelcore.

I found out yesterday that my printer has a card reader. Hence, I can fucking upload pictures! Hence, this blog is basically back in business. In the meantime, I've been all over tumblr, it made me feel dirty, but I'm not gonna lie - it's addictive.

While I hold the suspense of what wonders this blog is yet to bring (keep checking back), I felt the strong urge to hype this little lovely up.

Yes, look closely, it’s a shoe. A mindfuckingly innovative concept by Brazillian footwear designer Andreia Chaves. Chaves prides herself on her fascination with the aesthetically unusual, as well as her intricate study of form, new textures and visual effect; but the time that would have gone into ripping apart everything one would know about the classic ‘shoe’ and designing a piece such as this is simply compelling. In other words: I love this!

T,

just venturing into this self obsessed thing
